--- title: DAO App vs. Social App: Key Differences Explained slug: dao-app-vs-social-app-key-differences-explained createdAt: 2025-05-28T14:16:41.679Z --- As our ecosystem continues to grow, we want to make sure you clearly understand the difference between two powerful tools available to you: the **iN8** **DAO App** and the iN8 **Social App**. Here’s a simple breakdown: ## iN8 DAO App: Governance, Rewards & Responsibilities The **DAO App** is essential for all **Ambassador and Founder NFT holders**. It’s where your **monthly token reward eligibility** is tracked—powered by your DAO Seat ownership and consistent engagement. ##  Why It Matters -Holding a DAO Seat gives you access to monthly token rewards—but **only if you're active**. -To remain eligible, you must earn **50 points each calendar month** by completing specific actions on the DAO App. -Each action is usually worth **5 points**, and **requires a screenshot or image** to show proof of participation.  **Note:** We also have a few **25-point badges** available. These are mentioned in our **weekly DAO App Points email**, so be sure to check those updates! ## ✅ Monthly Requirements To stay eligible for rewards: 1️⃣ **Earn 50 Points Monthly** Complete enough actions to earn **50 points** and unlock your **Trailblazer Badge**. 2️⃣ **Stay Consistent** If you don’t meet the 50-point target by the end of the month, your **Token Eligibility will be suspended**. 3️⃣ **Missed It? Earn a Remedy Badge** Reinstate eligibility by completing the **Remedy Badge** requirements the following month. ## ⚠️ Important If your point target isn’t met: Your DAO Seat **won’t produce token rewards**. Missed tokens during inactivity are **non-recoverable**. **Take action **to stay engaged and earn your full rewards! **Need more help? Regain control of your attention 3. Connect with purpose-driven communities  **Your Engagement = Your Earnings** Thanks to the **iN8 Value Points System**, everything you do on the app contributes to your token rewards.  Points Breakdown: ------------------- ✅ **Focus, Health, Mindset & Purpose actions**: 5 points  **Creating a post**: 3 points ❤️ **Liking or commenting**: 1 point  **Sharing/reposting**: 1 point  **Your post gets likes/comments**: +1 point  **All actions count** in Team Communities: *iN8 Focus, iN8 Purpose, iN8 Health, iN8 Mindset, App Support* ##  Key Features Post valuable content Like, comment & engage with others Earn tokens from daily activity Share your growth and purpose Built on **CloudX** – embracing decentralized tech
